VOLUNTEER

If you are reading this page, there is a good chance you value volunteering and have experienced its benefit in your life. Our ministry relies on the support of volunteers like you! Volunteers are a key component to ensuring that our programs run smoothly during the summer, and they also help with projects and events throughout the rest of the year. It is especially exciting for our summer staff to have volunteers come up to basecamp and bring a fresh enthusiasm to Coldwater!

In the past, our volunteers have helped us build a sauna, a wood-fired pizza oven, run community events, cook numerous meals, cut trails, drive students to and from the basecamp, brighten up the property with their green thumb, and help us maintain and improve the overall condition of the camp.

Whatever your age or skillset, we would be delighted to have you join us this summer! There will be building and maintenance projects, meals to cook, events to plan, and time to invest in our staff. Our Basecamp, Camp Norland, is located on beautiful Deer Lake near Verner, ON.

**Volunteers under the age of 16 need to have a parent or guardian volunteer with them.

Food and lodging during your stay will be provided at no cost. We have several lodging options available, including:

  • Rustic style cabins (up to 12 people)

  • Retreat Center Rooms (1-6 people)

  • Tenting

We're excited to have you as a part of our team this summer! Please fill out VOLUNTEER APPLICATION FORM and we will get back to you shortly.

If you are interested in volunteer opportunities outside of the summer please email info@coldwatercanada.org.
